ACHTUNG: the lyrics are 80% German!BUT: since (as some say) the English language belongs to the Anglo-Frisian sub-group of the West Germanic branch of Indo-European languages, one senses that they are appropriate and a catchy match to the array of bouncy pieces of rather anglo-typic descent. They do stick, even to the linguistically uninitiated ear, like sourkraut to a New Yorker hot-dog. And the kraut-dog quickly morphs into a feast of transnational flavors.
